The only thing that I like about K12 right now, is the fact that the boys can log onto their website, and figure out what they need to do for that day. Some of their work is online, but most of it is offline. I don’t really like that so much is offline. I’d be much happier if they were completely online. I’ve been looking around, and private schools are completely out! That is unless I become a millionaire over night. Can anyone afford these private schools? It’s 600-1500 dollars a year, at least! And that’s per student. I certainly can’t afford that. Of course, on all the websites they claim that they are “affordable”. So if I decide to forget the K12 school, which is a charter school and is free, then I”m going to have to find something else. Maybe I”ll create a curriculum…. cuz I have all the time in the world! Working 40+ hours a day, trying to get a business started, homeschooling (which is the easiest part of my day), cooking, AND shopping when needed….. sure I can find an extra minute or two to create my own curriculum.
Well, if I do decide to create my own curriculum, I’ll probably offer it up to everyone, and at an ACTUAL affordable price. LOL!
Until then, I was turned onto this great website that helps homeschoolers with curriculum. They give it t o you for free!! I love the homeschool community! Anyway, for those who need it, you do have to apply before a certain date. Click here to find out more, and if you don’t need books, maybe you can donate!
