YAY! I’m so glad to hear someone saying these things!!

Im sure there are a lot of things in general for democrats to disagree with Sarah Palin about, but it is REALLY concerning me how much old school sexism is being levied at her, and how everyone is buying it hook line and sinker! I even read a blog yesterday where they were trying to say she is an unfit mother because she is running for VP!

That is exactly the sort of “blind faith-put a woman in her place” sort of mantra that we used to hear from the extremists in the religious right! Why is it okay for the progressives to use this as an excuse to dislike this woman now?

I think someone who has the close knit, extended family support that she seems to have should have no problem staying close to her child even with a full time job- whatever that job is! She also has a strong and supportive husband…who says he cant be there full time to help with the needs of this child? I thought that was a progressive thing to do?

Its fine if they want to argue with her on the issues they don’t agree with, but don’t let this insidious attack against all the progress women have made in our society sneak up on us sideways and set us back 50 years.

Well I read your blog. I have a simple thing for you. Just tell me I will pray to God. Or better if you send me an email. Or better still email to God yourself.
You can even add him on MSN. God@msn.com He would never sign in though but you have to believe that he is always signed in but appearing offline.
Sweetheart you just have to convert that such feelings in you into the love for your 2 children.
